So far, so Dysfunctional
I've taken a Valium, so this is going to have to be short and sweet, before I get all dozy.
In short sentences: got home from Japan, no job, no money, miss everybody, cry a bit. sad. start to get over jetlag, then reverse culture shock, have a few job interviews, start making slow pregress in recontacting old friends. job search starts bearing fruit.
family goes to hell in a handbasket. I'm, not going into details, sufficit tosay that a couple of us are on ye olde diazepam, and my mom is in the hospital because she had to have an angiogram. bad things are happening. bad things that will never really go away.
so, here I am, trying my damndest to keep plugging away, but the question that is foremost in my mind is: when is my life going to get easier? because I don't recall a single point at which it was not, to some degree, difficult, complicated, fucked-up or confusing.
